About the Budget Proposal
The annual School Budget Vote & Board of Education Election is on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 between the hours of 12 noon and 9 p.m. Click the links below to learn more about the 2021-22 budget proposal:

Below are dates of public presentations and events* (see the full budget development timeline above):
- Tuesday, February 16, 2021 (6 p.m.) – Community Budget Workshop via Zoom (followed by Board meeting)
- Tuesday, March 2, 2021 (6 p.m.) – Community Budget Workshop in HHS Room 22C across from the library (followed by Board meeting)
- Tuesday, March 16, 2021 (6 p.m.) – Community Budget Workshop in HHS Room 22C across from the library (followed by Board meeting to review/modify proposed budget)
- Thursday, April 1, 2021 – Applications for absentee ballots available from the District Office
- Tuesday, April 13, 2021 (6 p.m.) – Budget Workshop in HHS Room 22C across from the library (followed by Board meeting and final draft of proposed budget presented to BOE for approval and adoption for the public)
- Tuesday, April 13, 2021 (4-8 p.m.) – Voter Registration Day in the new gym at M.C. Smith Elementary School (please bring photo ID)
- Tuesday, April 20, 2021 (6:30 p.m.) – Education Plan Presentation in HHS Room 22C across from the library
- Tuesday, April 27, 2021 – School board nominating petitions due to District Clerk by 4 p.m.; copies of 2021-22 Proposed Budget (Budget Book) available to the public
- Tuesday, May 4, 2021 (6:30 p.m.) – PUBLIC HEARING for proposed budget in HHS Room 22C across from the library; last day to register to vote
- Tuesday, May 18, 2021 (12 noon-9 p.m.) – VOTE on proposed budget and school board election
