With the prevalence of the COVID-19 omicron variant and potential use of home test kits for symptomatic students, the District is seeking parent/guardian consent to have a nurse conduct free point-of-care and/or screening testing on students during the 2021-22 school year. Th District will distribute COVID-19 at-home test kits to district families on Tuesday, January 4th at the back entrance of the Junior High School. Pick up times are from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Our schools will be open, as scheduled, on Monday, January 3rd for all students. We are also putting additional health and safety measures in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and keep our schools open for in-person learning. This includes distributing at-home test kits to families during the first week of January.
Anyone interested in serving the school district as an interim Board member should submit a letter of interest by Wednesday, January 12, 2022. It is a temporary five-month appointment beginning on January 19, 2022 and expiring on May 17, 2022.
