Dear Hudson City School Students, Families, Faculty and Staff,
We believe in your voice’s power to shape our school community’s future, so we encourage you to participate in our annual School Improvement Survey.
Your feedback is crucial in helping us understand what’s working well and identify where we can improve. Whether you’re a parent invested in your child’s education, a dedicated faculty member committed to student success, a student passionate about your learning environment, or a staff member contributing to the school’s operations, your perspectives are invaluable.
The length of time required to complete the survey varies. The student, instructional, and non-instructional staff surveys take about 20 to 30 minutes, and the parent/guardian survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes. By completing this survey, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Influence Positive Change: Your input directly informs our strategic planning and decision-making processes. Your insights can shape initiatives that enhance the educational experience for everyone in our community.
- Address Concerns: If you have any concerns or suggestions for improvement, this survey is your platform to express them. We’re committed to addressing issues and implementing solutions that foster a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all.
- Celebrate Successes: We want to celebrate our achievements together! Your feedback helps us recognize and amplify what’s working well, reinforce our strengths and build upon our successes.
Rest assured, all responses will be kept confidential and used solely to improve our school community. Your anonymity allows for honest feedback, which is essential for driving meaningful change.
Please keep an eye on your email inbox for the survey link, which will be sent out by Monday, April 29, 2024. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, May 3, 2024. Your participation is vital, and we genuinely appreciate your time and commitment to our shared vision of excellence in education based on our Six Keys for School Improvement: a) strengthen the instructional core, b) improve data-driven practices, c) promote a positive, inclusive environment for all stakeholders, d) strengthen instructional leadership capacity, e) use a tiered approach to school support and intervention, and f) increase monitoring and accountability.
