Since the District completed its recent capital project below budget, the Board of Education approved additional work to be completed using funds leftover in the District’s spending authorization.
This “Phase III” work consists of items in the Building Condition Survey that were included in the preliminary budget but later removed due to pricing concerns, such as: window caulking and floor tiles in certain high school areas, flooring and seating replacement in the elementary school auditorium, floor tile and ceiling repair in an older section of the elementary school and asbestos removal (as needed).
The Board of Education of the Hudson City School District hereby invites the submission of sealed bids on Phase III work. Click here to read the Notice to Bidders, which was also published in local newspapers. Bids are due by Thursday, July 25, 2019.
