July 2020

Dear Class of 2021 Parents/Guardians and Students,

Congratulations! You have made it to your senior year!  As we approach the excitement of your final year of high school, we have many events, fundraisers, and activities to plan for and execute in the next 12 months. In an effort to keep everyone informed and abreast of these events, we have compiled a list of important dates for your senior year. Please keep this document handy for the year.

****** This is a document that is subject to change as we finalize the plans for the 2020-2021 school year.  If there are changes, all information will be posted on the Class of 2021 Facebook Page and a robocall will be sent out to all Senior Families.***********

Please also remember that each student is responsible for paying Senior Dues. This is a one time payment of $65 to cover the cost of cap & gown, yearbook, and senior t-shirt. We will begin collecting senior dues when senior t-shirts come in.

Senior Year Important Dates and Events

The following is subject to change based on guidance from the Health and Education Departments; see the Reopening Info & Updates page for current information.

  • Monday September 14th – Senior Class Meeting after school:
    • Homecoming info and tickets will be distributed
  • Friday, September 11th – first home football game.  Seniors are required to have 3 parents and 7 students work the concession stand to raise money to help your class pay for your yearbooks. Each Senior receives a yearbook if they have paid their class dues. We need A LOT of donations and volunteers in order to actually make money and not lose money.
  • Thursday September 17th – Parent Information Meeting – 6 p.m. in Auditorium (you must sell $150 worth of homecoming tickets to be on the court).
  • Friday, September 18th – second home football game. Same requirements as the first.
  • Friday October  2nd – third home football game. Same requirements as the first.
  • Friday October 9th – Homecoming Tickets and money must be returned by this date
  • Friday October 16th – Homecoming Football Game. Seniors are required to have 3 parents and 7 students work the concession stand to raise money for your yearbook. Senior parents are also required to work the gate. Junior parents will take over just before halftime.
  • Thursday June 3rd – Senior Awards Night @ 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday June 5th – Senior Prom at Anthony’s
  • Tuesday, June 22nd – Graduation Rehearsal 10 a.m.
  • Wednesday June 23rd – Baccalaureate 7 p.m. – Trinity Methodist Church, Joslen Boulevard, Hudson
  • Friday June 25th – Graduation @ 7 p.m. (Seniors arrive at 6 p.m.)

In addition to this tentative list, we have also had a “Remind” group since freshman year in order to make sure everyone receives up to date information and announcements throughout the school year. For those of you who haven’t already done so we highly encourage students AND parents to sign up for this.
