We are both proud and saddened to announce that Dr. Abitabile will be leaving the district in late December after accepting a position as Superintendent of Schools at the Lansingburgh Central School District. Dr. A has aspired to become a superintendent and this is an exciting opportunity for him and his family. He will still be with us for half the school year and will assist in the leadership transition process.
We are thankful for Dr. A’s leadership at HHS and the many things he has helped us accomplish over his 17 years in our district. We are sad to see him go, however we look forward to welcoming a new principal who will continue to expand opportunities for our students. We wish him the best of luck in his new position!
