Dear Hudson City School District community,
The Hudson City School District is proud to announce that there will be an official jersey retirement prior to kickoff of the September 15th varsity football game hosting Ichabod Crane.
Robert Lee Jones, #43, a member of the Hudson High School Class of 1959, tragically passed away during a football game against Catholic Central High School in 1958. To honor Jones’ memory and legacy, the #43 football jersey will be retired during a ceremony at 6:45 p.m.
We hope you can join us for this special occasion and cheer on the Bluehawks afterwards.
