Dear Community,

PDF: Carolyn Miller New JHS Associate Principal

Carolyn Miller has joined the Hudson Junior High School as our new associate principal. With over 23 years of experience in education as a teacher and administrator, Mrs. Miller brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.

Having been a middle school ELA teacher for well over a decade, Mrs. Miller is excited to be back at the junior high school level, and hopes to make a positive difference. Mrs. Miller has spent much of her administrative career working with at-risk youth. Her hope is to help build a safe, collaborative environment in which all students and staff can thrive.

Mrs. Miller is coming to Hudson from the Gilboa-Conesville Central School District, where until recently, she was the Director of Teaching and Learning. Prior, she held administrative positions at Columbia Girls Secure Center, Cairo-Durham Middle/High School, and the Children’s Home of Kingston. She is a graduate of Russell Sage and The College of St. Rose.

Mrs. Miller enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage sons. Some of her hobbies include making jewelry and crafts, gardening, cooking, and binge-watching new series and movies with her children.
