To make DNA, RNA and protein synthesis come to life, Mrs. Nowak and Mrs. Joy’s Living Environment class reviewed the process of protein synthesis by making Rice Krispie Treats!All students received a DNA strand, transcribed it to mRNA, and then translated it to the amino acids needed to produce proteins. The amino acids contained the steps to make the Rice Krispie Treats. When completed correctly they enjoyed a tasty treat!
