Dear Parents and Students,
I hope everyone is looking forward to returning to school this year. September will be here before we know it. I would like to invite each of you to our 6th grade orientation week. 6th grade orientation is scheduled August 22-August 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Junior High. This is designed to help your child make the transition from 5th to 6th grade, meet some of the staff, get a head start with organization, study skills, math, science, social studies and ELA. Please remember this program is to orient students with their surroundings while getting use to the Junior High environment. Although this academy is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended that your child attend.
Unfortunately, transportation is not provided. A bagged lunch will be available. If you are interested in taking advantage of this amazing opportunity please return the attached permission slip below or call the main office by Friday, August 12th. The Junior High main office summer hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The permission slip can also be faxed to 518-697-8522 or scanned and emailed to mcdonaldc@hudsoncsd.org.
