Hudson City School District voters approved the $52,244,404 budget for the 2021-22 school year with 352 in favor and 214 opposed.
In the Board of Education election, incumbent Lucinda Segar was re-elected to a three-year term ending in 2024, receiving 502 votes.
The other three-year seat will be awarded to Selha Graham, a write-in candidate who received 81 votes. With 80 votes, write-in candidate Mark DePace will fill Mr. Elliot’s vacated seat for the remainder of the term (effective May 18, 2021 through June 30, 2022).
