During the 7th annual Read-a-thon at MCSES today, associate principal Ms. Ruud visited kindergarteners to read “Strega Nona” by Tomie dePaola. Then they made homemade tomato sauce and meatballs.
Some kindergarteners attended “Camp Rutkey” for the day, where they read camping stories, made a special camping snack and did some arts and crafts.
