On Monday, June 10, 2019 the District will be conducting a planned evacuation drill at the Montgomery C. Smith Elementary School beginning at approximately 9 a.m. This is just a practice drill for the elementary school only.
The purpose of the evacuation drill is to test our emergency plans so we are prepared to act in the best interest of our students if the need ever arises. Local law enforcement are aware and will be assisting us with the process. Again, this is only a practice drill to test our emergency response plans.
We will provide periodic updates about the drill on Monday, 6/10, through our website, Facebook, Twitter, and our district notification system to keep you informed.
