Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student in recognizing the total individual. National Honor Society members are individuals who have distinguished themselves in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character.
Students who have demonstrated scholarship with an 87 cumulative average after a minimum of three semesters are eligible for consideration. A Faculty Council makes the selection using input from the entire faculty, letters of recommendation, the student’s academic records, extra-curricular resumes and reflection statements.
