Transition Service Informational Session
Services available to students beyond the school years
As you prepare for your next step, there is a program that is available to
help you as you transition to college, work, and beyond. The program is
called ACCES-VR.
ACCES-VR stands for Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-
Vocational Rehabilitation and it is a program within the New York State
Education Department. This program provides assistance to individuals
with disabilities, including students transitioning from high school to
becoming employed.
