Playground Safety and Use

To ensure student safety on the playgrounds, the school district has established the following safety guidelines:

  • Playground is closed from dusk to dawn
  • Playground equipment should be used only by authorized people
  • Equipment is for use by children 12 and under
  • Equipment must be used appropriately
  • Carry in, carry out or use trash bin

The following is prohibited at school playgrounds:

  • Bikes, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, etc.
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Abusive or foul language
  • Music at excessive levels
  • Smoking
  • Dog walking
  • The throwing of stones or any other objects
