The Board of Education accepted the resignation of Board Member, Maureen Sheridan, on August 11, 2026.
The Board of Education would like to solicit interest by asking for letters from candidates.
Candidates are asked to answer these three questions:
1. Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Education?
2. What skills will you bring to the Board?
3. Do you anticipate any problems committing to the board meeting schedule and additional work between meetings?

The letters of interest are due by September 11, 2026 to the board clerk Leslie Coons (coonsl@hudsoncsd.org). The selected candidate will be appointed at the September 15 board meeting.
Candidates should be present at the meeting, so that the selected candidate can be sworn in that evening and begin their term, which will go through June 30, 2027.
