The Outdoor Classroom field trip is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for sixth-grade students. This week, they’re spending four nights and five days at the Great Barrington, MA camp in the Berkshires. The trip is packed with hands-on learning experiences! The students participate in a wide variety of classes, group work and free time to allow them to study topics that interest them as well as explore new and creative ways to think outside the classroom walls. Students also gain valuable lessons in both the conservation and protection of natural resources.
