This morning, we placed all of our buildings in lockout status for a brief time in response to a vague phone threat received from an unknown caller. Lockout status means that our schools operate as usual, but no person is allowed to enter or leave the building without being escorted by law-enforcement during a lockout.
Out of an abundance of caution, law enforcement was immediately notified and they have completed their investigation and discovered that there is no viable threat against our staff or students. The lockout has been lifted, and all operations have returned to normal.
