The Hudson City School District would like to share an update regarding the recent safety concern that was reported to us on Monday morning.

We are continuing to work closely with the Hudson City Police Department as they conduct an ongoing investigation into this matter. At this time, the police have confirmed that there is no direct threat to the school district and the student in question is not in attendance.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff remains our highest priority. While these situations can be unsettling, please know that both the district and law enforcement are taking every necessary step to ensure our schools remain a safe and supportive place for learning.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind our school community that reporting concerns is an important way we can all work together to keep our schools safe. We are grateful to our students, families, and staff for continuing to share information when they see or hear something that may affect the safety of our community.

We will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Principal Kenneth Behr behrk@hudsoncsd.org or Associate Principal Carrie Patch patchc@hudsoncsd.org
