The Hudson City School District is excited to announce the results of the 2025-26 budget vote and Board of Education election that took place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at designated voting locations at the Hudson Central Fire Station, the Greenport Community Center and the A.B. Shaw Fire Station in Claverack on May 20, 2025.
The proposed 2025-26 Hudson City School District Budget in the amount of $58,544,000 has been approved by the following vote:
566 YES
371 NO
The proposed 2025 Capital Project in the amount of $8,345,000 has been approved by the following vote:
623 YES
300 NO
The proposition for the District to receive an additional 10% of State Aid on an Energy Performance Contract, which was not to exceed $11 million, was approved by the following vote:
730 YES

The top three vote-getting Hudson City School District Board of Education candidates were elected to three-year terms (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028):
