Dear Hudson City School District Families and Community:

The Hudson City School District’s 2025-2026 School Budget & Election will be on May 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.  School district voters will have five opportunities to shape the issues vital to the Hudson City School District.  Voters will be asked to approve the following:

  • Elect three (3) members of the seven-member Board of Education.  Each seat is a three-year term beginning on July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
  • A school district budget in the amount of $58,544,000 for the 2025-2026 school year. The spending plan, if approved by voters, would maintain all student programs and services. It would also ensure continued investments in classroom instruction.
  • A bond resolution to fund a Capital Project in the amount of $8,345,000.
  • A resolution for the school district to gain an additional 10 percent in State Aid from an Energy Performance Contract.
