On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the Board of Education approved the appointment of Bill Muirhead as a Transportation Consultant for the Hudson City School District. He started last Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Muirhead has an impressive record with the Catskill Central School District, serving for a total of 40 years. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Transportation for 13 years. Before that, he was the Food Service Director for 27 years. Muirhead retired from Catskill earlier this summer. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Business Management from Florida International University.
“I am excited about the opportunity to contribute strategic direction and operational enhancements to HCSD’s Transportation Department,” said Transportation Consultant Bill Muirhead.
Muirhead, a resident of Germantown, has owned three businesses in Columbia and Green County over the past 20 years. Outside of the office, you might catch him playing disk golf, golf, or going fishing.
