NYS Celebrates the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a live event on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center. During the event, the public can view the premiere of the one-hour broadcast tribute, which features Hudson Senior High School Senior and My Brother’s Keeper fellow Dejuan Bailey!Light refreshments, live entertainment, and a brief question-and-answer forum will round out the evening, which is FREE and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m. The film screening will begin promptly at 7 p.m. For those attending, you are encouraged to bring a children’s book to donate to the Dr. King Statewide Book Drive.
