The Social Studies Department spent the 2021-22 school year learning about the process and planning for implementation. The District had to submit an application to the New York State Education Department for approval, laying out the steps that would be taken to help students earn the required number of points to be eligible for the Seal. That approval was received late last school year, and the Social Studies Department moved forward with implementation this school year. Not only do students receive the endorsement on their diploma, but earning the Seal of Civic Readiness can also serve as one of the pathway options for graduation. Congratulations to the students, and to the Social Studies Department on a successful first year! #HudsonHasHeart
