As a culminating project in ELA 7 at Hudson JHS, students in Mrs. Pitt’s class created one pagers after they read the novel, House Arrest by K.A. Holt. One pagers are an AVID strategy that allows students to synthesize the meaning of content and show what they learned in an open-ended, highly engaging manner allowing the teacher an opportunity to assess student comprehension.
