Congratulations to Hudson SHS Teacher Michelle Nowak on being selected as the recipient of the 2023 James C. Kapteyn Prize, a $10,000 award to Mrs. Nowak and a $2,000 gift to the HCSD! Mrs. Nowak was nominated by Stephanie Forsyth prior to Mrs. Forsyth’s retirement for Mrs. Nowak’s excellence in a range of educational roles in her school community and exhibiting outstanding character traits. James C. Kapteyn Prize award winners serve a five year term on the Kapteyn Prize Selection Committee and attend the Kapteyn Prize award ceremony each year of their service. Mrs. Nowak will accept the Kapteyn Prize at the annual award ceremony this fall. #HudsonHasHeart
