Students in Ms. Clark’s, Mr. Hoolihan’s and Ms. Wheelers’ Junior High AVID programs in grades 6, 7, and 8 all went to Columbia Greene Community College for a tour of the campus to learn more about what college and career opportunities they offer.
Cait Dorrer, an Associate of Admissions, explained to students what CGCC offers as a small community college and she also led students in taking a personality quiz to figure out what careers might be a good fit for them. Then, students embarked on a tour of the campus getting to see several different spaces including the automotive garage and the construction lab where tiny houses are built. #HudsonHasHeart
