Swimming Pool Letter 3/24/23

Dear Families and Staff,

I’m writing to you today to send a friendly reminder in regard to the swimming pool located at Hudson Senior High School.

The pool is currently *TYPICALLY* open on the following days and hours, but is subject to change due to staffing and inclement weather. Changes are announced on the Facebook Page, through a mailing list and on the pool’s website.

  • Monday through Friday 6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.:  Adult Lap Swim
  • Monday evening 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Water Aerobics
  • Tuesday evening 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Adult Lap Swim
  • Wednesday evening 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Water Aerobics
  • Wednesday evening 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Adult Lap Swim
  • Saturday morning 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Adult Lap Swim

Early Morning Swim Access: Those who come to the early morning lap swimming from Monday through Saturday may enter the building from the rear parking lot through the double green doors near the loading dock, on the south side of the junior high school. When taking this entrance, you will enter the doors and take a right at the end of the hallway. At the next hallway intersection, take a left. The female locker rooms will be located directly on the left as soon as you make the turn. The male locker room is located at the next hallway intersection on the left.

All Other Times Swim Access: At other times, access to the school will be through the Event Entry doors located at the front of the building. When taking this entrance, you will enter the doors and take a right at the end of the hallway. Once you pass through the next set of doors, take a left (you will see the gymnasium on your right and sports awards/memorabilia on your left). At the next hallway intersection take a right. The female locker rooms will be located directly on the left as soon as you make the turn. The male locker room is located at the next hallway intersection on the left.

Cost to use the pool: $2.00 Adults | $1.50 Students/Senior Citizens (65+). A Courtesy Card for individuals residing in the Hudson City School District aged 62 or older is available by contacting Tracy Gaffney in the District Office (at Hudson Senior High School, 215 Harry Howard Avenue, Hudson). Proof of age and district residence is required (a driver’s license will suffice). If you have any questions, please call 518-828-4360, ext. 2101.
