Hudson Senior High School’s Kindness Club and the Joseph P. Dwyer Peer to Peer Project are hosting a gathering for veterans on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the High and Mighty Therapeutic Riding and Driving in Ghent!
A spectacular turnout is expected along with distinguished guest speakers and a nice group of local veterans. This year, the HCSD Marching Band, American Sign Language Students, and the AV Photography Club will be joining the celebration centered around coffee and bagels.
The Kindness Club will be providing coffee (compliments of StrongTree Coffee Roasters), hot chocolate, tea, student-made muffins and goodie bags that include student artwork, student-made keychains, lapel pins, veteran bracelets and other goodies to show appreciation. The Dwyer Peer to Peer Project will be providing the bagels.
The event is open to the public and RSVP to Lisa Schmitt at (518) 469-3562 or schmittl@hudsoncsd.org by Nov. 4 is highly encouraged!
