We are excited to announce that we are changing the mass notification system we use to communicate with families at the Hudson City School District. This change is based on your feedback requesting better communication and engagement with our schools.

The new platform is called ParentSquare. It is a unified communications platform designed to keep parents and guardians informed while encouraging greater engagement and connection with our schools. ParentSquare provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

    • Send and receive school and class information
    • Communicate in your preferred language
    • Share pictures and files
    • See calendar items
    • Sign up to volunteer
    • Schedule parent/teacher conferences
    • And much more . . . all in one centralized place!

Starting in a few weeks, all district and school, grade level and classroom information will be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text message through ParentSquare. For even more convenience, there will be a district ParentSquare app that will be available to download for free on iOS and Android devices.

Please be on the lookout for more information about when the transition to ParentSquare will occur, how to activate your ParentSquare account, and tips on using ParentSquare to access information and connect with our schools.

    Sincerely,
    Hudson City School District
