translation instructionsDear Bluehawk Community,

We are at a turning point and very excited to be considering the future, and we need your help!

The District is beginning a strategic planning process to help guide our efforts for the next several years, and we need your input so that we can make the best plans to move our district forward. What works well in our district? What can we build on? What have we learned over the past year and what will our future look like? These are important questions for our entire school community to consider and we need everyone’s help in answering them.

With your input, district leaders will develop a strategic plan that takes into account what is working, what we’d like to improve on, and how everyone in our school community feels about the work. We would also like to know what you think we should be considering for the future of our school district. Our strategic plan will be based on your feedback. Please share your thoughts by clicking on the following link to a thought exchange: https://tejoin.com/scroll/909664899 (select your language in the dropdown menu).

Unlike previous surveys, this Thought Exchange allows you to add your thoughts, see what other community members are thinking, and rate each other’s feedback. All of this is done anonymously, and we encourage you to check back often to keep the conversation going. The exchange will be open until June 30th.

In the coming months, the Board of Education and leadership team will be using your feedback for discussions and planning with about 30 volunteers from all groups in our school community. If you are interested in participating in the stakeholder group and being involved in the strategic planning discussions, please contact Tracy Gaffney at 518-828-4360 ext. 2101 or gaffneyt@hudsoncsd.org. The stakeholder group meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 8th, from 4-8 p.m. at Hudson Junior/Senior High School (refreshments provided).

We’re excited to be looking toward the future and building on our growth and continued improvement. Thank you again for your support and partnership toward the advancement of the Hudson City School District.

Dr. Lisamarie Spindler
