The Hudson City School District is interested in understanding stakeholder perceptions about the current school culture and climate.
Parents, students and staff are encouraged to complete this school climate survey and share their perceptions on School/Building Environment, Academic Environment, Social Environment, and Stakeholder Inclusiveness within the district. Your responses will remain anonymous*. The deadline to complete the school climate survey is Monday, December 6, 2021. Please note:
- Parents/guardians with children in multiple school buildings should complete one survey, keeping in mind the child whose birthday occurs first in the calendar year.
- Faculty/staff who have children in the district should complete one survey and are asked to respond from a staff perspective (rather than a parent perspective).
- Students in grades 4-12 are invited to participate, however it is recommended that students below fourth grade do not complete the survey.
The survey is available in multiple languages (English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Arabic, and Bangla). You can select different languages using the drop down menu on the screen.
Your feedback will be used to ensure that district offerings meet the needs of students, parents, and staff. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
*This survey does not ask for details that may identify you or your child, such as race, ethnicity or gender. Please do not write your name, your child’s name or any other identifying information in your responses. On page 2, you will be asked to consent to having your “personal data” collected but please be assured this refers to your personal responses, not personal data such as name, address, phone number, etc.
