Dear Parents/Guardians:
The District was informed of an elementary school staff member who tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was last at school on April 27th. Contact tracing was completed over the weekend and individuals who were identified as contacts were notified and directed to quarantine as a precaution.
I know many of us are suffering from “COVID fatigue” but it remains important that we continue to do all we can to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the community. We must stay diligent about the health and safety protocols such as social distancing, avoiding gatherings, wearing masks and practicing good hand hygiene, even if we are fully vaccinated.
If you have questions or need to report a COVID-19 related health issue, please contact your child’s principal or school nurse. As always, we greatly appreciate your understanding and support.
