Dear Parents/Guardians:
The District was informed of an elementary school staff member who tested positive for COVID-19. Based on the dates of the positive test result and the onset of symptoms, the Columbia County Department of Health advised that no school contact tracing is required.
Please continue in your efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the community. Even if you are vaccinated, we urge families to stay diligent about the health and safety protocols including wearing masks or face coverings, practicing social distancing, washing your hands, avoiding gatherings and unnecessary travel, and staying home if you/your child are unwell or awaiting test results.
If you have questions or need to report a COVID-19 related health issue, please contact your child’s principal or school nurse.
