The lunchtime 3D Printing Club meets with Ms. Moses in person and remotely to learn about the 3D design and printing process. They are learning how to use Tinkercad, an online 3D modeling program for children. Recently, Ms. Moses printed a 3D dinosaur designed by Natalie (fifth grade) and a “Kindness Rocks” sign to be placed in the MCSES garden.

Tinkercad is similar to CAD (computer-aided design) software used by professionals in engineering, architecture and construction. The program also introduces students to geometry concepts they will see later in school.
