There will be three seats on the Hudson City School District Board of Education up for election this May. Click here to learn more about what school boards do.

Nominating petitions are now available for anyone interested in running for an open seat on the school board. To get a nominating petition, please contact Leslie Coons, District Clerk, at 518-828-4360 ext. 2100, or by email at coonsl@hudsoncsd.org. Completed nominating petitions are due back to the district clerk in the District Office by Tuesday, April 27 at 4 p.m. (215 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson).

Two seats are full three-year, non-paid terms effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024. The third seat is the remaining term of BOE member Justin Elliott, who resigned for personal reasons earlier this year. The candidate who receives the fewest votes will fill Mr. Elliot’s vacated seat for the remainder of the term (effective the date of the vote May 18, 2021 through June 30, 2022).
