Greetings Hudson Families,

Over the past week, we are aware there have been many difficulties related to internet connectivity at our schools as well as a few others in the county.

We sincerely apologize for any delay in resolving these problems. Our IT staff identified multiple issues at play and are working with our service provider to get these issues resolved as soon as possible and to avoid major disruptions in the future. Based on these recent experiences, our District is actively exploring ways we can build redundancies into our internet connections to better protect our schools from internet outages and ensure a greater continuity of service. Our IT staff will continue to monitor the situation and provide support, as needed.

We understand it has been frustrating for our students and families, as it may have been difficult for our teachers to connect with you or your child online. Students learning remotely who are affected by this will be given special consideration concerning recent schoolwork.

Again, please accept our sincerest apologies for the frustrations over the past week. Thank you for entrusting your students into our care, and we are grateful for your patience, understanding and flexibility.

Sincerely,

Dr. Maria Lagana Suttmeier, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
