Hudson City School District voters approved the $50,684,738 budget for the 2020-21 school year with 1,267 in favor and 748 opposed. The proposition to establish a capital reserve fund was also approved with 1,338 in favor and 676 opposed.

In the Board of Education election, incumbents Sage Carter and Carrie Otty were re-elected to three-year terms ending in 2023, receiving 1,574 votes and 1,623 votes, respectively.
