Class of 2020 students and families,

There was an announcement made on June 3rd that the Class of 2020 commencement speaker will be Hudson High graduate, athlete and author, Leroy Collins. We are proud and excited to have his message shared with our students. All graduates will be gifted with an autographed copy of his book, The Running Back.

In addition, during this unprecedented year in school history, we are equally as proud to announce today that our graduates will also receive a special message from Hudson High graduate and the first African American mayor of the City of Hudson, Kamal Johnson, who will also be speaking at the commencement of the Class of 2020.

To have both of these role models with us for this special celebration is an honor. Our seniors have looked forward to this big moment over the course of 13 years and we applaud all of their accomplishments.

All speeches will be pre-recorded and added to a commemorative DVD to be given to all members of the graduating Class of 2020. The video will also be shared out digitally on our social media platforms at a time (TBD) following our commencement ceremony.

Sincerely,

Robert LaCasse ‘94
