ORIGINAL POST

Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 202.4, the Hudson City School District is working with community partners to plan child care services for Emergency Responders and Essential Workers who reside in our District, if needed (Monday-Friday, from 7 a.m.–5 p.m.).

The District is working collaboratively with existing licensed daycare providers to find open placements for non school-aged children, 5 years and younger, of essential workers and first responders. The Hudson Bluehawk Nation Afterschool Program will provide child care for school-aged children at Montgomery C. Smith Elementary School (102 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson) Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you require childcare for this purpose, please complete and submit this form. Your information will be shared with Kim Lybolt, the Director of Student Services for the Hudson City School District. Once processed, you will receive an email with the registration form to be completed prior to your child being able to attend. If unable to complete the form electronically, contact Ms. Lybolt at 518-828-4360 x2110 or email her at lyboltk@hudsoncsd.org

We also ask you to complete this Parent Need for Child Care survey to help understand your current child care needs surrounding the COVID-19 child care crisis. Your responses will go directly to OCFS and the Regional Child Care Centers.
