The Hudson City School District Board of Education will have two (2) open seats on the 2020-2021 budget ballot as the terms of current members Carrie Otty and Sage Carter are set to expire. Each elected seat is a three-year, non-paid term ending on June 30, 2023.

Nominating Petitions
Nominating petitions are available starting February 3, 2020 for anyone interested in serving the district as a school board member. To get a nominating petition, please contact Leslie Coons, Clerk of the Board, at 518-828-4360 ext. 2100, or by email at coonslx@hudsoncsd.org.
Completed nominating petitions are due back to the board clerk in the District Office by Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 4 p.m.
Requirements
To be a member of the HCSD Board of Education, the following requirements must be met:
- Must have a primary residence within the Hudson City School District
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a registered voter
- Must obtain at least 100 signatures on the nominating petition (supporters who sign the petition must also be residents in the school district)
