We are pleased to announce that Mr. Robert LaCasse, current Associate Principal at Hudson Senior High School, will be the new building Principal after Dr. Abitabile’s departure later this year. He was appointed to the Principal position by the Board of Education at a special meeting on Monday, October 21, 2019. Mr. LaCasse’s first official day as principal is still being determined but we expect the transition to occur in late November.
Many of you may already be familiar with Mr. LaCasse. He is a graduate of Hudson High and has worked in the district for 20 years. He taught Social Studies at the junior and senior high schools as well as high school Economics for 10 years, during which he also coached Bluehawk football and baseball. Mr. LaCasse has served as the Associate Principal at HHS since 2014.
We are confident that Mr. LaCasse will build upon the high school’s momentum and continue to expand opportunities for our students. As always, your child’s success and well-being will remain top priorities during this transition.
