Superintendent Suttmeier invited every member of the Class of 2019 to have lunch with her this spring.

Each Wednesday, a group of seniors sat down with Dr. Suttmeier for pizza and homemade cookies while sharing their post-graduation plans and aspirations. By the end of the “Where Are You Going” Wednesday lunch series, Dr. Suttmeier had insightful conversations with many members of the Class of 2019.

It was great hearing about the different student interests and learning about the various pathways chosen by the soon-to-be graduates.

It’s “Where Are You Going” Wednesday, so Dr. Suttmeier had lunch with members of the Class of 2019 and talked about their plans for the future. This group of seniors mentioned plans to attend schools like Clarkson University and the Air Force Academy, and pursue careers in fields such as engineering, computer science and pediatrics.

At today’s “Where Are You Going” Wednesday Luncheon with Dr. Suttmeier, members of the Class of 2019 talked about future plans to attend college and play intercollegiate sports. The fields of study they plan to pursue include Criminal Justice, Criminal Psychology and Nutrition, at schools like Union College, UAlbany, Purchase and Columbia-Greene Community College.

For “Where Are You Going Wednesday,” Dr. Suttmeier sat down to lunch with these members of the Class of 2019 to learn about their future plans. This group revealed a wide variety of goals, from pursuing Culinary and Music interests at local community colleges to becoming a NYS Trooper. Students also shared desires to attend colleges across the state and study fields like Zoology, Nutrition, Nursing and Pharmacology.

On this “Where Are You Going” Wednesday, Dr. Suttmeier learned these seniors have plans to pursue Nursing at Columbia-Greene Community College or perhaps take some time to decide on a path. No matter the pathway, these graduates will have the skills they need to succeed in college and career.

At today’s “Where Are You Going” Wednesday lunch with Dr. Suttmeier, these seniors talked about future plans to enter military service in the Army and go to college. They wish to pursue degrees in Biology, Communications and Computer Engineering. Some plan to attend Columbia-Greene Community College before continuing their educations at four-year schools.

At today’s “Where Are You Going” Wednesday lunch, these soon-to-be graduates shared their aspirations to be nurses. Even though they want to enter the same field, their goals are vastly different. They want to pursue health careers working with newborns, the elderly and the military.

It’s “Where Are You Going” Wednesday, and these soon-to-be graduates talked about their future plans while having lunch with Superintendent Suttmeier. Some plan to further their educations at schools like SUNY Cobleskill and the Orlo School of Hair Design & Cosmetology. One may even pursue a law degree. Another has plans to enter the workforce and is looking forward to more learning opportunities as part of an industrial apprenticeship.

“Where Are You Going” Wednesday continues with this soon-to-be graduate’s aspirations to become a chef. Amoz has been interested in cooking and baking since he was a child and he currently attends the half day Culinary Arts program at Questar III BOCES. He plans on taking classes at a community college and hopes to enroll in The Culinary Institute of America.

Today we wrapped up our “Where Are You Going” Wednesday lunch series with Dr. Suttmeier. These soon-to-be graduates have interests in animals and military service. Some talked about entering the workforce for a bit before moving on to their larger goals of becoming a livestock veterinarian or joining the military (Marines and Navy, specifically).
