The Board of Education appointed Mr. Charles “Chuck” Parmentier to fill a vacant seat following the resignation of Sumayyah Shabazz. The temporary appointment will expire on May 21, 2019. However, Mr. Parmentier can choose to run for election to the Board (and complete the term through June 30, 2019, if elected). The newly elected seat will start a new three-year term on May 21, 2019.
